Tibet is best described as the title "Roof of the world", with altitude in excess of 3500m. The tour to Tibet obviously gives the magnificent view of mountains & the unique Buddhist culture & lifestyle, lying to the north of the great Himalayan range which that touches neighbors countries like India, Nepal and Bhutan. Tibet has been proved as the dreamland for the tourists.
We will follow the Friendship Highway on this tour which offers some of the most amazing landscape, small Tibetan settlements, & of course, nomadic herdsmen wandering across the wide arid plains and charming mountain peaks. We get ample opportunity to explore the side of Tibet as well as the other towns we pass through on our journey to Kathmandu.
We have 3 days stay at Lhasa in the center of old cities. There you've lots of time for acclimatization & you can enjoy main attractions of the city like the Potala Palace, the Jhokhang Temple etc. Then we leave Lhasa in our Toyota Land cruiser 4 wheel drive, passing amazing country. After drive from Lhasa, our accommodation will be at the best traditional hotels. We will get the opportunity to explore further monasteries & find ourselves immersed in the Buddhist rich culture, in the towns of Gyantse and Shigatse.
With convenient & luxury tour, the main highlight of this trip is the visit to Everest Base Camp, the trek to camp III in 6340 meters, where the sheer grandeur of Everest's north face you have to see to believe. This will be the adventurous tour ever in your life to camp III (6700m) and the base of the north col via the east Rongbuk glacier.
