This is a wonderful trek from the foothills of the Annapurna South region up to the base camp of Annapurna South Itself, known as ABC.
It is particularly suited for those who love to enjoy the flora and fauna, with several panoramic views of the Himalaya including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, as well as taking in the view from Poon Hill along the way - a real "not-to-be-missed" experience.
The trek is known as a classic walk through the Annapurna Conservation Area - right into the heart of the mountains, and ends at a point where you are literally surrounded by soaring Himalayan peaks, with time to see both sunrise, and sunset from the Annapurna Base Camp. The trek involves several ascents and descents, but can be varied to suit ability as there are several alternative routes to the sanctuary, all meeting at Chomrong.
This trek provides an excellent opportunity to experience the fascinating glimpse of rich culture, typical Nepalese lifestyle and ultimate thrill of trekking in the Himalayas at the high elevation.

From there the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495m, and further short climb to Tikedhunga at 1,525m.
